Pacino takes a gamble with McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey, Al Pacino and Rene Russo will star in TWO FOR THE MONEY, a new drama/thriller scheduled to start filming in August. D.J. Caruso (TAKING LIVES) will direct the Morgan Creek production from a script by Dan Gilroy (MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 3).

The film follows what happens to a star college football player (McConaughey) when a knee injury sidelines his budding career. With no future plans in place the ex-player falls into the world of illegal sports gambling and gets recruited by one of the country's top bookies (Pacino). Russo would play Pacino's wife in the film.
