Hayden Panettiere and Justin Long are set to lead Alpha and Omega, a new animation which marks the first team-up of Lionsgate and Crest Animation Productions. The trade reports that the duo will be joining Christina Ricci, Danny Glover, Dennis Hopper and Larry Miller. Anthony Bell (The Boondocks) and Ben Gluck (Brother Bear 2) are co-directing the feature, based on a screenplay by Chris Denk. The original story was created by Steve Moore (co-creator of Open Season). Production is currently underway and its scheduled for a 2010 release.
Plot Concept: Story centers around two kidnapped wolves (Panettiere, Long) trying to get back their pack.
