Paramount, MTV and 50 Cent are LOCKED AND LOADED

Jim Sheridan, the director of IN AMERICA, has committed to helm LOCKED AND LOADED for Paramount Pictures and MTV Films. The movie will star rapper 50 Cent as an orphaned youth that becomes a street criminal, then later has a change of heart and turns his violent tendencies towards starting a music career. SOPRANOS staff writer Terence Winter wrote the movie script while Jimmy Iovine (the music mogul), Paul Rosenberg (Eminem's manager), Van Toffler (MTV Films President), Eminem, Dr. Dre, David Gale, Heather Perry and Chris Lighy will all share producing duties on the picture.
