I think Rudd is an excellent choice. He's capable of being funny if needed. He also has some dramatic chops. I think Marvel continues to make interesting casting choices that keep paying off big. Plus Rudd brings a familiar face to a character that the general public don't know much about. I had a feeling he was gonna get casted in a marvel film a long time ago when he was seen chatting with Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner back stage at the Oscars.

You can remove the question mark from the article title. Marvel has released a statement confirming that Rudd is Ant Man. But leaving out which one he's playing. That for now will be a mystery.

Yup. 100% confirmed.

My guess would that he is Eric O'Grady. I think Rudd fits more than character than Scott Lang or Hank Pym.

Indeed ElBaz. You and I think alike. But I'd be surprised if they skipped over Pym.

Then again they can still credit Pym with inventing the suit and Pym particles and jump straight to Yellow Jacket or Goliath or Giant Man. And just like in the comics have O'Grady steal the suit

Who did you want? Why is anyone getting upset over this casting? Rudd plays frustrated great and that is a hallmark of the Hank Pym character. I think he'll do great. First choice? I really didn't have one, it couild have been an unkown and I'd have been fine. Hank Pym barely has a "look" in the comics.
