Paul Walker was killed in a single car crash on Saturday November 30th, 2013. The accident occurred in Valencia, California. Paul was 40 years old.
“It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences,” a post on his official Facebook page said.

“Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the Fast and Furious films, and to countless fans.  We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family,” a rep for Universal said in a statement.

Walker’s next film, Brick Mansions, is currently in post-production. At the time of his death, he was filming the seventh installment to Fast & Furious. Personally, I have always remembered his performance on the TV series Highway to Heaven. He portrayed a young man with Down Syndrome who was competing in the special olympics. Even way back then, as a young actor, he knew how to invoke the very best of the characters he played.
Mania’s thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of Paul Walker.

RIP Paul. You left some great memories and you will be missed.

I hope that your daughter will be protected from as much pain that she can be.

Taken too soon. May not have been a great actor, but he showed a lot potential. He was a good and decent man too. Generous, thoughtful, and a dedicted humanitarian.

I saw the last F&F and really enjoyed it despite my forbodings, but my fav of his will be Joyride, along with one of my faves, Steve Zahn. So sad for his family, he seemed like a good guy and barely older than myself.

This sucks for his family and friends, and for those of us who enjoyed his F&F franchise. Truly sad. As a fan of the flims, I wonder if they will finish the film or not. I hope they do, it would be nice to see his final work. Could be something nice for his daughter to see. Very sad.

Words can't express how sad and tragic this loss is. He was taken too soon. it seems that he was at the height of his carrer.

Not sure if anyone caught it, but he was on one of the shark documentaries during Shark Week.He was friends with one of the shark researchers, and he wentg along on the boat to try to tag a shark.

A terrible tragedy, he was much more than just an actor obviously, this is sad news indeed.

Wiseguy 12/1/2013 1:27:57 AM

That is tragic. He was a great human being by all accounts and came up from humble beginnings to make a name for himself

And he was damn fine whistlebait in those tight tee shirts he wore in his films.  What a sad thing to lose him.

Such an incredible shocker to read this. All my sympathies and heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. I believe he has a teenage daughter.
