There have been many versions of this. I enjoy the story, which I've read, and enjoy the different versions of this, but this one doesn't sound worthy, unless it's a comedy, then . . . No wait that sounds stupid too.

Director Rob Letterman (Monsters vs. Aliens) has a new female lead set for 20th Century Fox's reworking of Gulliver's Travels. HR is reporting that Amanda Peet will join the production as lead star Jack Black's editor and potential love interest. Jason Segel and Emily Blunt round up the cast for Letterman, who's helming the project from a script by Nicholas Stoller and Joe Stillman.

I kind of remember watching the original as a kid, and not liking it back then, so I am curious to see what they do with the remake. I am down with this. They might make a version I want to see.
