The Manic Maniac: A WANTED Universe - Jul 10, 2008 - 06:37pm
Very good article Joe. Love the way you think. I too think the Loom only targeted the rest of the assasins because they were directed by Sloan to go after the wrong people. I also think that there is no chaos, everything has a purpose or a pattern; we just haven't figured it out yet but are on our way.

First Official Trailer for EARTH STOOD STILL Online - Jul 03, 2008 - 08:45am
It took a couple of minutes but it finally loaded for me. It looks interesting but not enough is shown to make me really excited about it. It definitely is not the same as the one from 1951 but just the same overall premise.

First Look Featurette Online for MUMMY 3 - Jul 01, 2008 - 09:05am
I too think the movie looks like it will be fun. However, I am a little disappointed in Rob Cohen's attitude towards Evie's character after reading an interview by him in SciFi magazine that is out now. My husband also found his comments to be insulting. He said that Evie's character was "interchangable" and Rachel Weisz as that character was not equal to Rick's character, she was not as strong. Huh? I understand the need to make light as possible replacing a character by a different actor but he seemed to go out of his way to be demissive and it struck us as being a personal vendetta he might have towards Rachel Weisz and her refusal to make the third movie. I do like Maria Bello but the charm of the first two movies also was based on the interaction between Rachel and Branden. I just hope that it is the same in this movie.

TV Review: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: Revelations - Jun 17, 2008 - 12:26pm
This was a great frakken show and more than met my expectations. When Lee was getting ready to push the button on Tigh I kept on saying “don’t do it” over and over again. I honestly thought that when the arrived at Earth they would wind up being the founders of Atlantis. Seeing the devastation that was found on Earth totally blew me away and started a completely new train of thought. I believe it will be that they brought the Greek mythology to Earth that is in our current history. Why cannot the destroyed civilization that they found be one of the ones that the Mayans have stated came before on Earth? I believe they will be our past and not our present or future. I will miss this show when it is gone.

Bloodgood Fights in New TERMINATOR - Apr 21, 2008 - 02:27pm

WB Grabs Simmons' HYPERION - Apr 03, 2008 - 07:05pm
I agree with teabagging, one of the best SF books written, will to pick it up again. Looking forward to this.

MEDIUM: Wicked Game Part 2 - Apr 03, 2008 - 07:01pm
I agree with the review. This show has its ups and downs but infrequently. The story of jobless Joe was getting old too. NotAFan, it is always nice to see someone who is not afraid to show their emotional maturity/IQ. : -)

Next Screenshot Trivia is Up! - Apr 03, 2008 - 12:35am
Hello Jarrod, sent you an email also about this. I used IMDB and correctly spelled the names correctly but the game only gave 1 for correct and there should have been 5. I do not think there were too many spaces in between the words but if there were would that discount also? Still love the game but I think that if you submit more than once on a game it should discount some points. I mean really!! :-)

HITMAN - Mar 23, 2008 - 09:14pm
I enjoyed the movie a great deal and thought Timothy Olyphant was perfect for the role. I think the grade is appropriate but I think I too had low expectations before I saw it based on the previous mentioned video-game based movies. I also go by the fact that I was able to stay on my eliptical through the whole movie and not keep looking at the clock.:-)

ROSEMARY'S BABY Getting a Remake? - Mar 04, 2008 - 08:52am
Please, not another one....and if Woody Allen did it then it would definitely suck.

And the Desert Shall Bloom - Feb 02, 2008 - 09:44am
Patience, as irrelevant as this all seems now I believe we are taking a journey, somewhat convoluted but a journey.

CLOVERFIELD - Jan 19, 2008 - 02:37pm
I applaud the concept and understand that with this viewpoint you will not get the answers you want, hated the shakey cam throughot, way too distracting (love all the Bourne movies though). What I was hoping for was that feeling I first had when I saw The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms for the fist time and this did not deliver. I thought the lead actor was lacking. Now having said all of that, I still think it is a good movie, not great, just good, and it will never replace Alien as my all time favorite monster movie. The husband hated this moving calling it the "the stupidest movie I ever saw" but I reminded him about Blood Rayne.

Some Details on 1-18-08 & Poster - Jul 28, 2007 - 06:24pm
Oh goody, goody, goody, cannot wait for this. I love monster movies. I even loved the new Godzilla that is how much I love monster movies. Abrams will do a great job I am sure.

The MIST a Hard R-Rating - Jul 28, 2007 - 06:19pm
I read the Mist when he first published it along with a bunch of short stories and I absolutely loved it. I too agree that this is his best short story. It is nothing like the Fog and it so far beyond it. I have been waiting for it to be made into a movie since I read it. I have no problem with a hard R rating only because I trust Darabont to do it right.

Who Wants to Watch a Wannabe Hero? - Jul 22, 2007 - 11:41am
HATE reality shows, all of them, too much BS filler for a few good moments and the moments are so few and far between. I am looking forward to fall too although Holly Hunter's Saving Grace might be interesting. Just saying. :-)

Stevenson is the new PUNISHER - Jul 22, 2007 - 11:36am
Loved Thomas Jane as the Punisher although the movie was enjoyable not at the top of my favorites. I have enjoyed Stevenson in everything he has done (one of the few who really enjoyed King Arthur) especially Rome. I think he will be a great Punisher, definitely think he will be more menacing.

Washington Joins BIONIC WOMAN - Jul 17, 2007 - 10:20am
I am very much looking forward to this show and I think Washington will be a good addition. I throughly believed he was unjustly fired.

Another CLOVERFIELD Site Launches - Jul 06, 2007 - 03:02pm
I made it through to the fourth. To get through the third think of checkers and the lights are your pieces. It took me twice with the jumping but it is not too hard. The light you move will turn green when it is the correct space and the one you jump will disappear.

The New Way to Watch TV - Jul 01, 2007 - 11:23am
Caught Burn Notice and loved it. It was a little slow at times but I think it will get better as it goes. Husband especially loves Fiona (figures) and anything that has Bruce Campbell in it is a plus. Will hang in there with John from C. It too may have its slow moments but I find the whole concept addicting.
