PERFECT CREATURE Arrives on July 17th

The suspense-thriller Perfect Creature arrives on DVD on July 17th from Fox Home Entertainment. Directed by Gary Stranding (The Irrefutable Truth About Demons), Perfect Creature is a graphic vampire sci-fi epic about two races fighting to maintain utopia as it is threatened by the evil side of one of their own leaders.
 
The film stars Dougray Scott (“Desperate Housewives”, Mission: Impossible 2), Saffron Burrows (Troy, Frida), Stuart Wilson (The Mask of Zorro) and Leo Gregory (Tristan and Isolde, Stoned),  The story centers on The Brothers, vampire leaders, considered to be the next evolutionary step. When a virus suddenly spreads, turning the vampires against the humans, chaos ensues and the fragile balance between the two races must be restored. 
 
The Perfect Creature DVD features two behind-the-scenes featurettes with cast and crew interviews, trailers and more. Perfect Creature will be available for the suggested retail price of $29.98 U.S. / $43.48 Canada. The disc will be presented in widescreen (2.35:1 aspect ratio) with English 5.1 Dolby Surround sound, plus English, French and Spanish subtitles. It will feature a “Making Of” featurette, “Designing the Perfect Creature” featurette and trailers.

Okay what the bleep?! Our Canadian dollar is worth almost the same as the American dollar. So we are we still paying a huge mark-up? A $13.50 mark-up here between the American and Canadian prices for this DVD release! A 45% increase, when in reality it should only be about 9%. The Canadian version of this crap DVD should be closer to $33.00
