After ten years of living in an other city with a female relative, high school student Shin Kanzato and his little brother Jun, return to Ayanagi City to live with their older brother Ryou, the city’s chief of police. While Ryou appears cold and distant towards his younger brothers, inwardly he cares very much for them and even has the three of their birthdates as the security code to his house. However, Ryou already has his hands full since Ayanagi City has been experiencing a wave of abnormal crime such as a missing submarine found with no passengers and the recent deaths of some high school students, two of whose bodies had been turned inside out.

While searching for the source of the bizarre occurrences, Ryou may find some answers in his own brother, Shin, whose premonitions of a demon trying to kill him lead to his experience with a demon, may provide Rou the answers he needs to find the source of the strange crime wave.

Persona -trinity soul has very clean animation and good effects in the scenes where the demon attacks people. The bodies of the inside out victims are shown briefly, so just enough gore to make it interesting but not too much to gross out anyone. Since the two main storylines of the reunited brothers and supernatural crime spree are a sharp contrast to each other, the first episode is a little confusing, but they manage to pull it together to keep the viewer interested in where it will progress.
