IESB.net reports that the planned movie of the Fawcette/DC Comics character Captain Marvel may eventually fly under the title of 'Billy Batson and the Legend of Shazam'. This comes from the mouth of director Peter Segal himself.
To us, the longer title evokes the pulpy tone of the theatrical serials that Captain Marvel used to appear in.
Segal slipped the details to an IESB reporter along with the news that screenwriter John August is hard at work getting the script into shape. Segal is also steadfast that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will play Black Adam in the movie.
