I'm sure that the Avengers movie is not going to go the way of the recent event with the same name. That would involve too many characters, a lot of which Marvel does not have rights to anyways. I thought they were going to use Thanos, but I bet he will be used for GotG first. Ultron has always been a cool character to me. Who thinks Vin Diesel will voice Ultron? Because I don't think he would be a great Vision (recent speculation) and not a great Thanos either. He doesn't have the right presence for Thanos and I think that's too big a character for him to carry. I like Vin Diesel, but he is one of those guys who is only right for certain roles.

This and the news of the MoS sequel being a "World's Finest" movie and even from Bangkok I could here nerds heads exploding.

This why mania falls short again

shh meanwhile had someone live blogging everything. Made me feel like I was there...tsk tsk

Come on this isn't even a recap of what went down at the panel, shame

SarcasticCaveman 7/21/2013 1:18:27 AM

WAAAAAAAAAAAAA *insert generic complaint about Mania being late on the story*

Really, what is the point in even commenting here if you're just going to down the stories themselves and/or Mania's efficiency of reporting on them?  So they didn't send anybody to Comic Con...get over it.

With that, now that the next Avengers movie has a title, does anybody doubt that Vin Diesel is going to be playing The Vision in the Marvel Movie Universe?  I certainly hope he is.

What is Coulson DID die in Avengers, but he's now an A.I. He could go all Ultron on S.H.I.E.L.D. & force the Avengers to fight one of their own. I doubt they'll do that, what with Coulson headlining the TV show, but man would that be cool.

Mofos get mad when someone speaks truth bout the site.  Wise on point though.

I liked the Capt footage description more than Thor's.  The GOTG footage sounded cool too.

Wiseguy, next time you can pay for our travel, our hotel, oh and more importantly set up contacts with marvel and Disney that we will get into Hall H to cover the panel. Or you can wait in line 6 hours and hold our spot for us. Have you ever been to comic Con? A press pass doesn't not mean a seat at the head table. 3 years ago I got covered the Cap and Thor panel and had to leave the second they were over because everything was three hours late. Why did I have to leave? I had to get next door to do the press interviews! What did I miss? Oh nothing, just the Avengers assembling on stage.

This was a press release from Disney. Sorry it wasnt a second by second blow of the panel.

I think Whedon really telegraphed the Ultron storyline with his insistence on having Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver be included in A2. And said that they would have a "huge impact." I believe he was speaking about SW's ability to screw with probabilities which proved to be the key to Ultron's defeat and destruction on several occasions.

jedibanner 7/21/2013 7:36:20 AM

I don't understand people bitching about the site....oh wait, it's from Wise...NEVER I understand.

The synopsis looks interesting for the movies, and knowing the title for the next Avengers is a cool news also.
