The Los Angeles charity premiere of STAR WARS: EPISODE II - ATTACK OF THE CLONES held on Sunday, May 12th at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood was one of eleven charity screenings held throughout the United States and Canada to raise money for children's programs.

The Fulfillment Fund was the Los Angeles charity selected by Lucasfilm Ltd., and 20th Century Fox. The Fulfillment fund is the largest private provider of scholarships to Los Angeles students.

Joining Darth Vader and other costumed characters on the red carpet were Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Samuel L. Jackson (Mace Windu), Ahmed Best (Jar Jar Binks), Rena Owen and celebrity guests Billy Zane (TITANIC), Norman Lear, Janine Turner (NORTHERN EXPOSURE), Shannon Doherty (CHARMED), J. August Richards (ANGEL) with Tangi Miller (FELICITY), Kerr Smith (DAWSON'S CREEK), Claire Danes (ROMEO + JULIET), Chi McBride, Sherry Lansing and Wayne Brady. STAR WARS: EPISODE II - ATTACK OF THE CLONES opened at midnight Thursday, May 16th much to the delight of the many fans that have been camped out on Hollywood Blvd for weeks.
