The CW has provided sixteen new images from the this week's episode of Smallville. James Marsters returns to the show, but not as the character you think! In addition to the images we've got two clips from the show. But first, here's the official description of the episode, which is called "Homecoming":
A RECORD-BREAKING EVENT! SMALLVILLE HITS 200 EPISODES AND BRINGS BACK FAMILIAR FACES LIKE JAMES MARSTERS AS BRAINIAC — In an attempt to cheer up Clark (Tom Welling), Lois (Erica Durance) convinces him to attend their five-year high school reunion. A visit back to the home of the Crows has Clark remembering old times with Lana (Kristin Kreuk) and Chloe (Allison Mack), while Losi is furious that no one remembers her five days as a student. Brainiac 5.0 (James Marsters) uses his Legion ring to visit from the future and takes Clark through his past, present and future. He shows Clark what really happened the night Jonathan died, Oliver’s (Justin Hartley’s) current pain and Clark’s future at the Daily Planet with Lois and his role as Earth’s favorite red and blue superhero. Jeannot Szwarc directed the episode written by Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders.
The "Homecoming" episode of Smallville airs Friday, October 15th at 8pm on The CW.

The first clip is a trailer, which includes more teasing of Clark becoming -- *gasp* -- Superman...
And then we have a scene from the episode in which Clark and Lois attend a Smallville High class reunion...
There shouldn't be too many complaints about this episode kinetoscope. It was one of the best written and acted so far. It examines how our failure to let go of the past can affect our present and our future. And the fact that sometimes we touch the lives of people we hardly knew.
Last nights episode was excellent , loved the future part of the episode, why am i so geeky ,lol awesome

I know there are people who like to pick apart Smallville. But its a fun show and I like it aot. Not looking forward to this coming to an end.
