If you're hitting the San Diego Comic-Con happening this week, here's your opportunity to pick up the next issue of Cinescape and the first issue of CrossGen Entertainment's SNAKE PLISSKEN CHRONICLES comic book -- absolutely free!
Hitting newsstands on August 3, every issue of Cinescape #72 will include a complete copy of JOHN CARTPENTER'S SNAKE PLISSKEN CHRONICLES #1, the debut issue of Hurricane Entertainment and CrossGen's CGE imprint line. But if you want to get your hands on the issue early, the only place to do so is at the San Diego Comic-Con. Starting tomorrow the gang at the CrossGen booth will be giving away only 3,000 issues of the magazine which includes the first SNAKE comic. The August issue of Cinescape also includes an exclusive interview with SNAKE writer William O'Neil and artist Tone Rodriguez.
"While the issue will still be about two weeks from hitting newsstands, what better place to launch the Cinescape/CrossGen program then at the Comic-Con Interbational in San Diego?" said our own Eric Moro, Cinescape's Executive Editor. "We hope this new initiative will help win over readers who might be interested in the medium, but wouldn't normally go into a comic book shop."
Look for more CrossGen special inserts in future issues of Cinescape!
