in more recent comic appearances Bishop has been bald.

Bryan Singer has confirmed yet another addition to X-Men: Days of Future Past via his official Twitter feed. The director has announced that actor Omar Sy (The Intouchables) will be joining the cast. Unfortunately for fans, much like his announcement of Peter Dinklage, he didn't reveal anything else about Sy's casting. Feel free to speculate down below...
Omar Sy will be joined by Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage and likely Halle Berry (yet to be confirmed). Bryan Singer is returning to the directing duties, based on a screenplay by Simon Kinberg.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for July 18, 2014.
He's the black mutant that gets killed first in the movie. Like Darwin in First Class.
Since this movie will involve time travel it's likely that he will be playing the time traveling mutant, Bishop.
This movie is going to suck major @$$! Why bring this superhero movie destroyer Brain Singer back? I like Ian Mckellen and Patrcik Stewart as actors, but Professor X and Magneto were not feeble old men. Hally Berry sucked as Storm , but he will bring her back too. The most annoying thing is how weak Magneto from a power standpoint too. I mean Magneto does not metal to use his power, also he can fly and not just float. He can generate magnetic fields to protect himself and others, and the list goes on and on. I guess WB will get him back to do the next Superman after Man of Steel.
I agree with most that this will possibly suck. I don't think they should do this storyarc at all. It's too confusing. In fact I don't think they should do anything involving time travel....period. I don't like Bryan Singer as a director or producer for that matter. There are some really great stories in the X-Universe that are simple and when you have 2-3 hours to convey the broader points of a complicated story arc, something is going to fall through the cracks (most likely Halle Berry's accent). I think Fox and Sony have really screwed the pooch with these reboots.
Days of Futures Past is a two issue story arc, and far from complicated. It's shorter than Red, and they had to add stuff to that to make work as a movie.
My first thought was "Bishop" as well. Bishop is a key part of that story arc. Or am I thinking Age of Apocalypse??
if memory serves Bishop was never part of the original days of future past story. The story had Kitty going back and joining with her past self to help avoid the future where sentinels basically kill and imprision every mutant. I really cannot imagine a way to make this story on the big screen in a way that would make it understandable to the casual moviegoer yet satisfy the hardcore fans.
I hope this isn't stupid but I think he would make for a great Bishop! Only problem is that he has no hair.
