Pine's KIRK Comes with Orion Slave Girls

JJ Abrams seems to be throwing in some references to the hardcore trekkers out there with his upcoming STAR TREK film. JFX Online has published photos of what they believe to be Chris Pine (Kirk) on the set of the production. Personally, those photos are a tad too fuzzy for me to make out much of anything and JFX states as much, which has them looking for a confirmation of the scenes. Still, there's one little humorous bit thrown into the article worth passing along to you. Supposedly, the first scenes shot with Pine's Kirk revolve around a green-skinned Orion Slave Girl, something definitely referencing the TOS version of Kirk we know so very well.

Are you sure that isn't Steve Austin, the 6 Million Dollar Man in that '70's leisure suit?

Each new spoiler that comes out for this Star Trek movie has "bomb" written all over it. I have yet to read or see anything about this film that doesn't make me cringe.

The orion Slave Girls are very kool. Very old school Star Trek. But that suit is very lame. WTF???? Like macgawd above I have very very bad feelings in my gut about this movie.

This movie is beginning to sound more like the Star Trek universe's family reunion/attempt at the largest who's who group photo than an actual story.

I'm going to contradict myself in a way. My expectations are so low for this movie that I actually think I'm going to like it. That's pretty much the opposite of the way I felt about the last 8 ST movies.
As for those pictures, you can't tell anything. They're too out of focus.

As a hard core star trek fan, i have had the lowest expectations for this movie since it was announced, but im hoping im gonna be proven wrong and that i will see something unique.. Atleast i hope so. Really, i do, i want to Damn it....

I have to say that even at a young age Shatner had an adult look about him. This guy playing Kirk, may not have passed puberty yet.

I mean really. Those shots are so blurry, you can`t really tell how it`s going to look onscreen. All we know is that its really, really freaking red. Oh boy, yeah, this movie is really going to suck, because of a all red suit. Give me a break!
