Yay! Bulletproof Monk was awful but Fat's dry humour and martial art talent was the one entertaining thread throughout.

I thought Mr. Fat would play Two Face or the Joker in BATMAN KEEPS GOING. That might work actually more so if he is Harvey Dent.

You know I've often pondered how Chow Yun-Fat keeps getting work in this country. I've yet to see a good Chow Yun-Fat movie or even a solid performance outta the guy. I mean it's pretty obvious english isn't his first language and everytime he delievers dialogue it sounds very wooden. Oh well I'm sure Johney Depp will save that movie too.

Maybe Godzilla will rise up and eat Fat's ship while Depp has encounter with Kevin Kostners merman. Could be cool?

Chow Yun-Fat is hands down one of the best actors out there. It's too bad he seems to have the same problems as Jet Li: mediocre action movies. Hopefully this will be the big movie for Chow Yun-Fat. If this doesn't work, maybe he and John Woo could go back to Hong Kong and do a real movie again?

Mr. Chow is the coolest bad-ass there is. Period.
Sure, if you only got to see that piece of crap called Bulletproof Monk, well I can't change your mind. Try the old flicks with John Woo, which reinvented the action genre.

jezutix watch THE KILLER with subtitles hell even the dubbed version. Also I was surprised at how good of a movie THE CORRUPTOR was. I have not seen ANNA and THE KING but Jodie Foster always seems to make the ridiculous work. Although most of CONTACT sucked except for the ending. Also HARD BOILED was a tad ridiculous but it was an enjoyable film as was The Replacement KIllers.

My sentiments exactly. If you can get past the over the top acton of hong-kong flicks they're one hundred times better than any Michael "Scripts-make-my-head-hurt" Bay and Bruckheimer have to offer. I fell asleep watching Bullet Proof Monk. Fat had great range in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

How can we forget Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon? This can't be seriously jumbled in the mediocre bin, now, can it? But, then again, he spoke a different language in that movie. Bet Disney wouldn't conceive of allowing Fat's character (Captain Sao Feng) to be believable and actually speak a foreign lauguage. Why is everybody so freakin' scared of subtitles? Oh yeah, brain fart... cuz we're a nation of lazy, quick fix, no imagination, no-patience-for-reading culture.
