Walt Disney Pictures and the animated experts over at Pixar are showing off their second full trailer for Brave, their next 3D venture which arrives in theaters on June 22. Check it out below or watch it in HD Quicktime here. The adventure features the voices of Kelly Macdonald, Emma Thompson, Billy Connolly, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Robbie Coltrane and Craig Ferguson.Co-directors Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman shared the helming duties.

Plot Concept: Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In "Brave," a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts.

Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane). Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Wise Woman (Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it's too late.

Just the animation and cgi alone is enough to get my interest add the PIXAR name and I'm there

Agreed, Wiseguy.  Then I read the voice cast and was even more impressed.  This looks good.

All you can say is how beautiful Pixar is at just about everything.

OK, the other all you can say is that was an excellent scene they used. It told so much about the story and was so good, if it were a just a short it still worked perfectly. It reminded me years ago when for The Lion King they showed the opening song "Circle of Life" just as a teaser. It was just perfect all by itself.

I think this will be the surprise hit of the summer.

Seen every pixar film on opening weekend, even Cars 2. Didn't even really need to see a trailer but it just keeps looking better.

Really InnerSanctum, I don't think anyone would be "surprised" if a Pixar film is a hit.  It's pretty much a given.  The animation here was gorgeous.

Pixar is, like Apple, a company that knows what it is good at and has the right people employed there to not only create some of the best, most beautiful animated movies of all time, but they are innovative at the same time.  Watch "The PIXAR story" on netflix and you'll be rooting for their movies to do well even more.  The only PIXAR movies I have not seen are Cars2 (not a huge fan of Cars1 but I liked it)  and Rattatouille (which I picked up on blu-ray).  This one is a definate theater see.
