Greetings to our valued customers,

Many of you may be wondering exactly what has been going on with our web site recently - the amount of concerned phone calls we have gotten proves it. The situation is not the easiest to explain, but to be as plain as possible, our domain registrar (Network Solutions) mistakenly deleted our ownership of the planetanime.com domain. During the time we were in the process of rectifying the situation the domain should have been "frozen", or made unavailable to others seeking to buy the domain. However, Network Solutions again made a mistake, and our domain was sold to a domain reseller. We have just re-secured the domain and hope to have it accessible to everyone shortly.

For the time being, we have switched our web site over to http://www.planetanime.net as opposed to .com. Customer orders have NOT been affected in any way. All pre-orders still stand, and orders will be shipped on schedule. For now we urge you to order through our planetanime.net address as you normally would, and address any e-mail to our usual addresses - simply use the .net extension instead of .com. For instance, order inquiries can be sent to orders@planetanime.net, comments to comments@planetanime.net. Our phone and fax numbers are of course unaffected.

We thank all of you for your continued support of Planet Anime through the years. We have big plans in the works for the coming year, and they will not be derailed by this incident. You can look forward to a re-vamped web site, an expanding list of new features, easier ways to keep track of your orders, and more - all within the next few months. As a thank you for your support during this crisis, we are offering this $5.00 gift certificate good toward any purchase of $30.00 or more before shipping. The $5.00 will be taken off your order after it has been processed by our staff. Simply click on the gift certificate hyperlink and shop as normal.
