Planetary Meets JLA

By: Rob Allstetter
Date: Wednesday, February 13, 2002

A PLANETARY/JLA crossover, from writer Warren Ellis and artist Jerry Ordway, is targeted for this summer.

"I just got the assignment last week, after calling around for work," Ordway says. "Scott Dunbier (WildStorm's editor-in-chief) mentioned me to Warren Ellis, and next thing I know, I'm on a hot, talked-about project! My understanding is that it'll be a 48 page one-shot, edited by John Layman, scheduled for late summer. I anxiously await Warren's script so that I can start drawing on it."

The book will be called PLANETARY/JLA: TERRA OCCULTA.

Ordway continues to work on PROTON, a creator-owned project that doesn't currently have a publisher.

"PROTON is a labor of love, and my intention is to get it into print sometime this year," Ordway says.
