This came out in the U.K in early April. I don't know if deserves an F grade but it wasn't very good either. The concept wasn't bad but the execution was just silly as hell. Best part of the movie was the climactic battle at the end. I didn't even stay for the very end because my girl and I had tickets for Cabin in the Woods. A way way better flick.
No wonder your name is "CrazyCeo".
You must work for Warner Bros!
Avengers was fantastic! There were a few minor editing points but the movie itself was outstanding! Joss Whedon really did himself proud! The story, dialogue, action, character development, set pieces were all TOP NOTCH. Saw this in London and at the end, it got a big ovation. Which says a lot because Brits don't do that, especially for movies.
Tallman is absolutely correct. Saw it on Saturday and it was everything a Marvel comic book fan would want in a live action Avengers movie and more! They finally got the Hulk absolutely right. He definitely stole the show!
"forgettable"? More like Uneffingforgettable!
End credit scene= awesome!
Just saw The Avengers over here in London! It was amazing! The end credit scene was Mad!
Honestly, I don't understand the harping on about how it should have been this villain or that villain. I guarantee that if Heath wouldn't have died so tragically before the release , fan boys would also be complaining about villain choice. And of course there is less excitement for TDKR. It's the 3rd movie. Avengers is a whole different experience. They are bringing the Marvel U to the big screen in a way never been dne before.
So do we actually get to see a Batcave?
What about the Redfields? Are they still in this? And really why should anyone need to make a challenging argument as to why they are worth watching? You not watching isn't really going to effect anything for me or anyone on here. I'm just sayin. If you don't like it, that's cool. no skin of my back or anyone else's.
I actually really enjoyed Dune too. The Sci-fi miniseries was also really good but different. Sting was pretty good in Lock Stock and 2 smoking Barrels
Totally agree Wyldstaar, but you're forgetting the other guy, Batman.. He's a hero that pretty wears a mask through the whole movie and I don't think Bale has a problem with emoting. Not to mention Hardy now as Bane, although you can still see his eyes.

It looks good. That dude looks like the new Spartacus. I hope that they introduce other DC characters into the story. Hopefully they have learned something from Marvel.
