March is set to be the month for some of the big mainstream releases of anime movies and those inspired by anime origins. Buena Vista/Disney is set to bring out their release of Ponyo while Summit Entertainment takes out the poorly received Astro Boy. Unlike anime studios, both of these studios are releasing their films on both formats at the same time. Specs are highly limited and subject to change at this point, notably in that Amazon lists only Japanese language for the Ponyo release which is obviously incorrect as it will contain the English language as well.
