Possible First Look at the JLA Plot

As requested, I'm publishing the latest plot rumors inside the JLA project with a warning. The reason a lot of us don't publish script reviews is because of the possible inaccuracies that usually come attached to such details. As you know readers, most scripts are always a work in progress as the studio production jumps into gear and this latest bit of JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA plot details should be treated with the same bit of consideration.

Understand, I'm not questioning Patrick here because I know he's ethical to the last degree. He doesn't just publish wild speculation like some other sites out there. This probably is the current script they're utilizing. If this close source has got ahold of the JLA script which director George Miller is using, then I'm sure there is a good chance some of the leaked details will make their way into the final working print by WB and the production crew. I'm just giving you readers the warning that while the script details may indeed be genuine, it doesn't mean this script will not experience major changes as time rolls towards production. It could be changed around somewhat now just by being leaked to the media. The JLA adaptation hasn't even been cast yet, let alone filmed so treat any plot rumors as just that. Rumors.

Enough warnings, right?

I hope that this is just to keep fans off track. This was a mediocre story at best when told in the stinker Infinite Crisis. It was told better in "Justice" although the details were different the gist is the same. HOWEVER, this is a plot for a sequel NOT the Premier of the JLA franchise. Alien invasion. Starro, or Darkseid.

this is the first I'd heard ANYWHERE that Martian Manhunter would be included in the League.... where is Aquaman? I'm not overly concerned about that because Aquaman is more well known to the world than Martian Manhunter (even though I like the character Jon Jonzz A LOT and think he should appear as a league member with Hawkgirl over Aquaman... face the facts... it probably wont happen in this flick) hmmm the Redeye sounds like a CYLON or a Wes Craven movie... are the Cylons going to appear in JLA? probably not. Which is sad because Redeye was a damn fine Cylon. :O)

Sounds interesting, but the devil is in the details...and rumor has it that Warner likes the script whatever it is.

Warner Bros wouldn't be greenlighting the film if they didn't like the script, metal..It's safe to say that isn't a rumor.

Chud is reporting so-called major spoiler that UGO wouldn't give us. They have it on inviso text just in case you want to check it out Dark Jedi.

Infinite Crisis or Tower of Babel like someone posted in another thread, I think this concept would serve best for a sequel after they've established some of the characters. We'll see. I'm there opening day for whatever they come up with. JL movie even if it's rushed is a must see for any comic fan.

I think it will be interesting to see them skip an "origin" movie in favor of diving right into the action.

I love the idea of this,,,,,I like the cartoon,,,,I am not tht worried about them getting the story right, as I tend to like most everything,,,,,I just want to see some kiiller action

Horrible idea. To scrap a Superman sequel for this crap is tantamount to a failure of epic proportions. I read concepts like this and I just figure that we are at the second great collapse of comic book movie fads. (The first being Batman and Robin.) Seriously, this movie is the kind of thing that can shut down a genre for a decade.

Glad Aquaman's out...they don't need him or a contrived reason to put him in the water. At most, give him a cameo. With the plotline, Martian Manhunter's a better choice. I'm glad it's the John Stewart lantern. I'd like to see a Green Lantern stand alone origin movie featuring Hal Jordan battling Sinestro. There's been a big debate about casting Wonder Woman..Well, if she's going to be a world ambassador type of character, then go with an older and wiser Diana and cast Monica Bellucci or Charisma Carpenter. The fans want it, both ladies would fit what we've come to imagine Wonder Woman looks like in our minds, and they would both fit the idea of a statesman(woman)-aged princess.
