POTTER 2, others get DVD release dates

VARIETY rounds up some DVD release dates for late 2002 films including HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS, hitting shelves April 11, THE RING on March 4, and TREASURE PLANET on March 8.
The HARRY POTTER release is more than a month earlier than the DVD release date last year for the first HARRY POTTER movie. The May release last year was scheduled to hit the Memorial Day holiday in the US while avoiding the international hoopla over the World Cup.
