POTTER fans bid for ORDER

It may be a while yet before fans of HARRY POTTER finally get to read THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, but if you really want to know what's going to happen, author J.K. Rowling is offering the chance to bid for a 93-word plot synopsis at a charity auction next month.

REUTERS reports that Rowling has already revealed that the card contains the following words: "Thirty-eight chapters ... might change ... longest volume ... Ron ... broom ... sacked ... house-elf ... new teacher ... dies ... sorry"

The autographed card is expected to raise up to £6000 ($9,500).

Now that's what I call a pricey précis.
