Preliminary Weekend Box Office Figures (July 13-15)

The BLONDE takes the top spot, while FINAL FANTASY dwindles.

Reese Witherspoon's LEGALLY BLONDE looks to have surprised everyone, coming out of the pack to take this mid-summer weekend's top box office spot with an estimated $20.35M, followed by THE SCORE, with $19M. Last week's top spot holder, CATS & DOGS landed in the third spot with an additional #12M. FINAL FANTASY, which opened Wednesday and took in an estimated $7,620,000 before Friday, only brought in an additional $11.5M for the weekend. Meanwhile, SHREK has finally dropped from the top ten.
