David Fincher's latest, PANIC ROOM, locked $30.2 million inside its vault over the Easter weekend, while ICE AGE held strong in second and thawed another $18.6 million.

Last week's champ, BLADE 2, slid 60 percent and wound up in forth, while THE ROOKIE beat it out with $15.8 million. The re-release of E.T. found its business bleeding away surprisingly fast, with 56 percent of its business gone in one week. It made $6.1 million and made sixth place, bested by CLOCKSTOPPERS, which made a lukewarm debut in the number five slot with $10.1 million.
