Preliminary Weekend Box Office (Sept. 7-9)

A number of new movies hit theaters this weekend, but that didn't really result in big bucks at the box office. Out of the group of newcomers, Universal's THE MUSKETEER took the top spot with an estimated take of $10.7M.
Following that actioner came the romantic comedy TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME with $8.3M followed by Mark Wahlberg's ROCK STAR with $6.2M.
Last week's top spot holder, JEEPERS CREEPERS, doesn't show up until the fourth slot with an additional $6.2M.

9. THE PRINCESS DIARIES, $3.4M this weekend, $97.1M since opening
