At the premiere of SCHOOL OF ROCK

Paramount Pictures recently held the World Premiere of SCHOOL OF ROCK at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood.

This film which stars Jack Black as Dewey Finn, a hell-raising guitarist with delusions of grandeur who gets kicked out of his band. So what does he do, he impersonates a substitute teacher and ultimately turns a fifth grade class into high-voltage rock and rollers. This could be every parents nightmare!

Seen walking on the leopard carpet (red was forgotten for this premiere) were the stars of the movie including Jack Black, Joan Cusack, Mike White (who also was the screenwriter), Sarah Silverman and Director Richard Linklater. The kids that starred as the fifth grade class arrived on an actual school bus along with Jack Black himself!

The fun was when the real rock and rollers started strutting down the red carpet and joined the many celebrity guests which included: Anne Hathaway (in a see-through top), The Osbournes Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly and Jack, No Doubt (no Gwen Stefani), David Moscow, Joe Hahn from Linkin Park, Weird Al Yankovic, Brian Robbins, Jesse Bradford, Lake Bell, Chris Kattan, Miguel Ferrer, Dashboard Confessional, Brittany Snow, Laura Reagan, Incubus, Cindy and Emily Williams, Melissa Joan Hart and her husband Mark, Graham Nash (of CS&N) with his daughter and son, Slow to Surface, 7 Days Torn, Paramount's President Sherry Lansing and STAR TREK's Rick Berman.

Before the premiere began, sitting back by the Archlight behind the dome, who should Cinescape spot walking into a screening but none other than STAR TREK DEEP SPACE NINE's Ira Steven Behr. The TREK producer stopped for photos.
