Premiering PUNISHER style

Lions Gate Films, in association with Marvel Studios held the Los Angeles Premiere of THE PUNISHER on April 12^th at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome In Hollywood.

THE PUNISHER is one of Marvel's top-selling solo comic books and the characters popularity parallels that of Marvel stars X-MEN, SPIDER-MAN and the FANTASTIC FOUR. This unstoppable vigilante is portrayed by Tom Jane (DREAMCATCHER). The only difference is The Punisher has no superpowers to battle the all the evil and relies on his fierce intelligence and his iron determination to avenge those wronged by society's villains. John Travolta stars as the story's formidable villain Howard Saint.

Seen on the red carpet were the stars of the film: Tomas Jane (Frank Castle/THE PUNISHER); John Travolta (Howard Saint); Rebecca Romijn-Stamos (Joan); Laura Harring (Livia Saint); Kevin Nash (The Russian); Ben Foster (Spacker Dave); Samantha Mathis (Maria Castle); Eduardo Yanez (Mike Toro); Mark Collie (Harry Heck); James Carpinello (Bobby Saint/John Saint); Eddie Jemison (Micky Duka); writer/director Jonathan Hensleigh and producers Avi Arad and Gale Anne Hurd.

Joining the stars were guests: Jennifer Lewis; Amy Acker (ANGEL); Kerr Smith; Gene Simmons (KISS), his wife Shannon Tweed and their sons; Patricia Arquette and son Enzo; Bai Ling and Kelly Preston.

THE PUNISHER opened nationwide April 16^th.
