This movie and animation looks sick. I hope Kevin Conroy voices the Bat. I wonder what the deal was with the superman Mech suit though.
The first trailer for 'Superman/Batman: Public Enemies' is now online.
The animated feature, which follows 'Green Lantern: First Flight' in the Warner Premiere/DC Universe roster, takes its storyline from the like-titled run of the 'Superman/Batman' comic written by Jeph Loed and illustrated by Ed McGuiness. The plot finds Lex Luthor, then President of the United States, swearing a federal warrant against the two heroes and declaring them enemies of the country. The ensuing story finds the metahuman forces of the DC Comics world, both good and evil, looking to bring the world's finest heroes down.
Now that we've seen this first clip, we have to say the animation style looks like Ed McGuiness, does it not? Roll clip!

Wow that looks good! I read the comics and it was a great storyline. That could end up being the best cartoon movie of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If only they could make a new movie or tv show half as good for superman. ( and yes Im still bad mouthing smallvile)
That does look pretty damn sweet. The folks at DC are masters of the animated films. I don't think there's one that I disliked. Marvel could take some lessons from these guys.
Actually Darth, I gotta disagree slightly with you. MOST of the DCU Animated movies haven't disappointed. Gotham Knight was pretty bad, but that's just my opinion. Why they couldn't just do a single story in one style of animation that bridges Batman Begins and Dark Knight, I don't understand. I do like the occassional Anime, but this film really lost my interest with the first segment (the one with the kids each relaying their Bat-experience). I saw that story on the 1990's animated series and it was better written and better animated.
It was good having Conroy back as Bats though.
Sweet! This movie will have it all!!!
Superhero team-up? Check.
An impressive villains roster? Check.
Its an DCU Animated movie (which have yet to disappoint)? Check.
Keeping the style of one of my favorite comic artist? Check.
I can't wait for this!
