What They Say
From renowned composer MASAMICHI AMANO (SiN: the Movie / Ninja Resurrection / Giant Robo / Ruin Explorers / Urotsukidoji) comes the Original Soundtrack to PRINCESS NINE!

Head back out to the mound with the music from Princess Nine! Featuring songs composed by Masamichi Amano and performed by the WARSAW PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA, this second CD contains the musical themes for several characters, including Hikaru, Shino, and Ryo – not to mention an acoustic version of the Princess Nine ending theme, "Passionate Days", and liner notes featuring off-the-wall stories from series director, Tomomi Mochizuki! Follow the Princesses’ season to its final moments with Volume 2 of Princess Nine.

The Review!
4 out of 5
Music found in the series Princess Nine.

This CD comes with a ten-page insert. The first page is of course the song title list. Secondary we have a two-page introduction to the plot of the series by director Tomomi Mochizuki. Next up a three-page phone conversation about the musical collection by music director Masamichi Amano. Then a three-page story about the origins of Princess Nine by animator Katsuhiko Goto (NHK Enterprise 21). Followed up with the last page, a page of credits for the Series as well as the CD.

As often happens with a multiple collection series such as this, you have one soundtrack that is bad, and one that isn’t. Well, this one follows that to the tee. The first collection was very disappointing, however, this one is a vast improvement. It doesn’t even seem like the same orchestra anymore. The Warsaw Phil has taken the compositions of Mr. Amano, and truly made them works of inspiration. The music flows much better in this one, and it seems to fit the overall theme of heart that the series potrays. The sounds themselves as a stand alone CD, aside from the series, also have the overwhelming power to take you to new emotional levels you didn’t think would be possible with this series. Great follow through on this one, made you want the music to never stop.

I’d have to say much more like what you would expect from such greats as Mr. Amano, and the Warsaw Phil.

Fangboy says…Yay! A real winner.
