Producer/Co-Writer of "Halloween" Dies

Debra Hill, who co-wrote "Halloween" with John Carpenter, died today at 54. She had been battling cancer for a little over a year.

Carpenter said, "that working with Hill was one of the 'greatest experiences of my life.'"

Hill returned to work on "Halloween II." As a team, Carpenter and Hill also collaborated on "The Fog" and "Escape From New York."

Later, she went on to produce such films as "Adventures in Babysitting," "Heartbreak Hotel," Terry Gilliam's "The Fisher King."
