The Review!
CPM has FINALLY released the rest of the A-ko OAV/movie series and the results are spectacular in my opinion. It seems that whatever was plaguing the original movie's DVD release has been fixed and the subtitles ACTUALLY are timed correctly.

While it is true that these movies are more plot-intensive than the first movie, I assure you that the same off-the-wall humor resides in all 3 of the concluding movies. Compared to the first movie's release, this seems to have seemlessly been converted to DVD without any apparent sign of digital glitching... and be it age or whatever, I must admit the original DVD version of the first movie was pretty bad in both video and subtitling(2 minute delays for a translation before and after the person talks, now that's just shameful!)

Anyone afraid that this DVD of all 3 of the rest of this kawaii and crazy series have been disgraced with the original's initial release can put those fears to rest.

Video: A (Compared to the grainy first movie, these come in crystal clear uality. Way to go US Manga!)
Sound: A (Every part of these soundtracks can be heard in 100% quality... too bad they didn't quiet C-ko's screaming!)

Extras: A- (Well... um, you get to see a gratuitous full frontal nudity scene of Ako while she is dressing for school, which to this day I'm still very confused as to why they put this in there! Not saying Ako's not gorgeous... she's just not my type... especially not in that area.)

Overall: ! (Those who believe that US Manga is out of sync when it comes to releasing their anime flawlessly on DVD better be sure to check out this redeeming release. Also, any fan who has been DYING for US Manga to FINALLY release the rest of Ako, rest assured that you can't go wrong with this release!)
