got this on blue ray 2 months ago, i dident get to watch this at the theater i wish i had. what an amazing movie. the only thing i cant understand is i remember people just waiting for this to come out and when it did it almost floped at the box office, kinda like dredd only dredd was D.O.A.... to bad because dredd was real good too...

I'm definitely getting my copy! Loved this movie!

This was a good movie but it wasn't great.  The characters were cardboard stereotypes and a little difficult to get invested in.  Fassbender and Theron managed to rise above the material and make interesting characters.  The rest of the cast didn't.

But the 3D FX were wonderful.  Prometheus and Avatar are the only films I'd recommend seeing in 3D.  With the other films I've seen in 3D, it was a gimmick  not integral to the movie.

Saw this in 3-D and thought it was great! Never did like Avatar. Too boring. Prometheus had enough going for it to keep the somewhat shallow characters from ruining the entire experience. I'll get my copy when it hits the shelves!

This movie was the balls, man! I can't wait to own a copy of it on blu-ray. This was easily my favorite movie of the summer. I can't wait to see the extended/deleted scenes.

I absolutely have a sense of humor.  But having suffered from depression myself and also having two friends take their own lives (one of whom just two months ago), I just don't find it funny.  Nothing personal against you.  Just didn't like the comment.

VTGamehendge, I know where you are coming from. I have a relative who commited suicide. I know the pain and the loss and the betrayal one feels when someone you know and are close to does that.

I didn't find the comment funny either. I just try and ignore statements like that. People have their own humor, and sometimes it might not jive with everyone.

I'm also really tired of this crap with '4-disc sets'. That used to mean something. Gladiator was three legit discs. Hot Fuzz was three legit discs. This is a Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital copy. It's four discs of EXACTLY the same content. They couldn't even bother to isolate the movie on its own disc to forgo the additional compression? Blade Runner was FIVE discs, and they didn't repeat content over a single one. I feel extremely cheated. The only reason to really buy this is the superior box-art. Which, for a nerd like me, is worthwhile.
