Director Lexi Alexander is out drumming up interest in her new movie 'Punisher War Zone', but she also revealed she's considering another gunslinging comic book hero: DC Comics' 'Jonah Hex'.
At this week's press event, the director revealed that she's been reading the script for the film by writing/directing team Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. The pair recently walked away from the project over creative differences.
Alexander said she liked the script, but was more interested in the fact that Josh Brolin was flirting with the starring role in the film. She also admitted she was worried about repeating herself, by doing another violent action film, and admits that "many, many directors" are probably up for the same job.
Watch for Alexander's complete comments in our upcoming coverage of 'Punisher War Zone'.
