Rachel Bilson joins JUMPER; Palmer leaves

According to Variety, Rachel Bilson will star in the upcoming 20th Century Fox film JUMPER, taking the place of Teresa Palmer.

Palmer was replaced when the role was reconceived as a 25-year-old woman rather than a 20-year-old. Bilson will join Samuel L. Jackson, Hayden Christensen and Jamie Bell in the Doug Liman directed sci-fi adventure film.

Planned as a trilogy, the film follows a young man from a broken home who discovers he has the ability to teleport. In his quest for the man he believes responsible for the death of his mother, he draws the attention of the National Security Agency and another young man with the same abilities.
