The cinematic classic that introduced the world to Indiana Jones is ready to embark on a new adventure when director Steven Spielberg and executive producer George Lucas’ unforgettable Raiders of the Lost Ark is released for an exclusive one-week engagement in select IMAX® theatres beginning September 7, 2012. The film has undergone a complete restoration for the IMAX exclusive one-week release and subsequent debut on Blu-ray. Oh this would be fun. Closest theater showing near me is an hour and half away. Decisions. Decisions. Not sure it would be worth the drive with gas prices the way they are. May have to wait for the Blu-Ray.
I'll be there for sure. Just to see it on the big screen again will be cool. Too bad they didn't add 3D but being a 1 week limited release that would be too big an investment

Closest to me is 6 -7 hours away. I check out whatever happens to be playing when I'm in a city with one. I sometimes feel I'm on Tatooine. In the badlands.
