Sam Raimi, who produced the upcoming feature-film adaptation of the vampire graphic novel 30 Days of Night, told reporters that he is waiting to see how the first film does before moving on to adapt the next story in the series, Dark Days. "I only read it once, and it was a few years ago, but I thought it was great at the time," Raimi said in a news conference in Beverly Hills, Calif., this week. "And it is very different, and I don't know if there's going to be a sequel to 30 Days of Night, nor do I know [that] if there was, it would be based upon that. You'd have to see if it's successful at the box office."
