Rated R JOHN RAMBO Trailer #2

By: Jarrod Sarafin, News Editor
Date: Saturday, September 08, 2007

A second Rated-R trailer of JOHN RAMBO has appeared online. A few months ago, a redband look at the upcoming installment of the returning Vietnam vet hit the web featuring some dialogue in the film and culminating in some gruesome kills from Rambo himself. The latest trailer has little dialogue given and features just the action and bloody kills. I'll embed both the new trailer and the old one for you readers. This fourth Rambo film is written & directed by Sylvester Stallone and stars Julie Benz, Matthew Marsden, Graham McTavish, Rey Gallegos, Jake La Botz, Tim Kang, Paul Schulze alongside him.

Plot Concept: A group of Thailand based Christian aid workers need John Rambo to guide them up the Salween River to deliver medical supplies to the Karen tribe of neighboring Burma. When the missionaries fail to return, Rambo is persuaded to take a group of mercenaries back into the war-torn border region to find them.

Only at... the GRIIIIIIIINDHOUSE.

But seriously, I'm there.

At least they are not going to wimp out and go for a PG-13 like Live Free or Die Hard did. I will be in line opening day. I wouldn't miss this for the world.

Wasn't impress with Bruce Willis' LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, that movie (LFORDH) should have been made a few years back during the time Willis did Unbreakable, to ensure the DIE HARD franchise, opinions will vary...As for JOHN RAMBO...Yeah, I'll be in line on opening day, as well.

Hell yes, this movie is going to kick serious a**. You've got to give it up to Sly for having the balls to make a movie like this when all thats being made is crappy "lets cater to the MTV crowd" sh*t that is pouring out of hollywood these days. I'll be there opening night.

OK, Stallone, you've convinced me. No more Rocky/Rambo AARP jokes. John "foot-in-you-ass" Rambo is back. Amazing thing is
that Stallone looks convincing. Save me a
seat on opening day.

That trailer makes up for parts 2 and 3.
Sign me up for a ticket.
Is that Julie Benz? If so, even more of a plus I think.

As others have said, that's totally 80's--to the max!

Maybe too 80's? Shouldn't he be fighting Islamic terrorists or something? Especially considering how he helped the mujahedin (possibly the Taliban??) in part 3!

And whoever dissed Live Free or Die Hard here is just wrong. That movie is the only _pure_ summer blockbuster thrill ride this season.

I didn't diss Live or Die Hard. I just thought they should've gone for an R rating just like the other.

When does John Rambo open anyway? It thought it would be coming Summer '08 but imdb.com now says December '07. Which is right?
