Last night, the TOKYOPOP Twitter feed had a new post by the official reps that indicated that Rave Master was now available on DVD:
"KP: Ahoy Rave Master fans! The complete anime series on demand for just $39.99. Get 'em while supplies last! (ha ha ha) "
The link provided takes you here, a company called CreateSpace that is part of the Amazon group of companies. The company has done a number of direct to disc kind of burn on demand titles before but this is apparently the first anime one. Burn on Demand was done by ImaginAsian Entertainment with a few series and multiple volumes. Rave Master was previously released to DVD by TOKYOPOP several years ago but it was the dub only version and it never got past the third volume and few retailers seemed to even carry that. The series gained more notice again recently with its full run on the SyFy network in addition to its previous run on Cartoon Network.
Because this is a burn on demand kind of release, it's worth noting that not all players will play a DVD-R flawlessly. And since it was mentioned by TOKYOPOP directly, we're assuming this is a legitimate release.
UPDATE: We have gotten confirmation that this release will be the dubbed broadcast version only.

So begins Haru's journey as the new Rave Master to find the lost Raves and save the world from the evil Shadow Guard.
Now, Haru will be swept away on fantastic adventures! But he will not be alone. Haru will be joined by Elie, a spunky girl on a quest of her own -- to discover the mystery of her forgotten past. And Plue, the little hero who knows more than he can say about the whereabouts of the missing Raves, will guide them haphazardly on their fateful quests.
Together, they will journey through awesome new worlds, encountering a vast array of both friends and enemies as they seek to fulfill the duties of the Rave Master - to find the missing Rave stones and defeat the evil of the Shadow Guard while searching for the secrets to Elie's past.
