Just watched 2012, the movie is horribly long with loads of unwanted drama clips, kudos for the animation used, but halfway through the movie, I literally got some ice cubes from the cafe to keep myself from dozing off.
The story revolves around a family who keep dodging tsunamis, earthquakes, falling buildings, volcanoes and what not and always seem to get away, pushing it a bit too far.
On the whole a few parts could have been edited and done away with for eg: the yellow wires getting caught that wouldnt shut the doors, come on man - it's already been 130mins, we don't need to see that crap - it's too boring for movie like this. I didn't find one person walk out with a satisfied look - most looked happy that the movie was "Finally" Over and some came out sleep walking.
On the whole - 10/10 for the animation 3/10 for the story a perfect 0 for the length - overall maybe 5/10. Too bad expected a lot more from this one.

I agree totally! I rented the DVD cuz the movie trailer was awesome. But I was falling asleep through all the boring drama. If your target market is the Action/Thriller guy, don't put him to sleep!
