A red carpet indeed at the premiere of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE

Do you remember the original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE? Of course you do. Do you remember the girl sitting at the dinning table screaming and screaming...it seemed like the screaming would never stop and yes it scared me to death. As Tobe Hooper has stated "you really didn't see any of the violence, it was more like a mind game". It seems that there's a lot of the great horror films being remade these days, like Tobe is about to do with TOOL BOX MURDERS. Hey Hollywood, how about doing THE FUNHOUSE, MANIAC, IT LIVES and IT LIVES AGAIN again? And you definitely can't forget BLOOD SUCKING FREAKS.

New Line Cinema's THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE is number one at the box office this week. Released nationwide on October 17th, the world premiere of the film was held on October 15th at the Mann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. All of the film's stars all came out for the event.

Walking down the carpet were the stars of the movie including Jessica Biel, Eric Balfour, Erica Leerhsen, David Dorfman, Andrew Bryniarski (Leatherface), Laura German, Kathy Lemkin, director Marcus Nispel, producers Michael Bay and Mike Fleiss, executive producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form and of course the co-producer, Tobe Hooper.

Among the guests included were cast members from 7TH HEAVEN who came to support their former co-star Jessica David Gallagher, Beverly Mitchell, George and Geoff Stults. Plus, Kimberly Stewart, Rebecca Gayheart, Shane West, Neil Patrick Harris, Ashley Scott, Jessica Alba, LORD OF THE RINGS stars Dominic Monaghan and Sala Baker, Danny and Chris Masterson, Wilmer Valderrama, and many more watched the show.
