Well I won't be happy with a Transformers movie unless they make a movie about giant robots...and not Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox...I mean in the third one just remove the non-military cast (Shia, Megan and parents...and humping dogs can go)...I actually like seeing the Autobots working alongside the Army...that was cool, so the military cast can stay...Really the only part of RoTF that I liked though was the fight between Megatron and Optimus in the woods, that was a throwback to the orignal animated movie...I kept hoping to hear, "You Got the Touch," in the background.  I'll go on record and say that I liked GI Joe way more than RoTF.  Is it too much to ask for a Transformers movie about Transformers?

Ghost in the Shell?  Hasn't that been in production for countless years now?  Also, the writer behind Birds of Prey series?  I mean that show was a guilty pleasure of mine...but seriously I know why it only lasted half a season...the only actually good episode was the finale...that was awesome...

I really hope that Baker becomes the Lizard, I mean if you want the emotional baggage...he's been there for Peter in all the movies to this point and well...*BAM*...now he's trying to eat Peter...that would be a heckuva a blow...

Steph Song interview?  Slow news day I take it...

I swear Bruce Willis is staying in those comci adaptation films isn't he...well good for him...personally I'm not really looking forward to any film Bruce Willis is in, until next year's Expendables...I'm stoked for that film.

Hmmm! Transformers 2, a big dumb loud movie for big dumb loud... nah! That's too easy. Seriously tho, I suppose there's only so much you can do with big robots that transform in to things in the grown up world! As kids you think cool! But the reality of it is making a tangible story out of it, hey it makes money so hollywood will make more nuff said!

Spidey 4 that should be interesting, I caught the first movie the other day & man does it look cheesy! The biggest problem I had with it is that the Goblin dies by having his balls impaled, watch & see! Ouch!.  With all the cool stuff that happens in the comics they must be able to make a good story this time around, but I think they will have to up their game if they wanna compete with the likes of Ironman & Batman.

What is wrong with saying a movie is fun? That isn't a legitimate reason to like a movie?  You're right.  I'd rather go see a dull, boring movie. That's much more entertaining.  Likewise with special effects.  I'd rather see a movie with cheesy cardboard cutouts like in Star Trek TOS.

Ok, you want me to say what I liked about TF2?  Granted, it wasn't as good as the first movie.  But the action sequences were very well done.  Better than the ones from the first movie, I would say.  And Megan Fox is smokin' hot.  She may or may not be a bitch.  She may or may not be psychotic. She may or may not despise Michael Bay.  Who cares?  I like seeing attractive women on the screen when I go to the movies.  Sue me.

WarCry 10/23/2009 11:33:27 AM

TKay42one, you didn't like TF2, and that's cool. That's your opinion. Where I start having problems is when folks on the intertubes start attacking other PEOPLE because they disagree. YOU do not make decisions for me on what movies to watch or buy, like or dislike. Your second post up above is a MUCH better critism, addressing why YOU don't like the movie. I agree with some of the points (like the Twins), but I liked the movie overall. That doesn't make me better than you, and it doesn't make you smarter than me. It means we like different things.

If folks on the interent and elsewhere could get it through their heads that everyone doesn't like - and, more importantly, don't HAVE to like - all the same things it would make a much better place. But no, folks find it easier to say "You're a fukkin' moron if you like that film!" or "You just too stupid to 'get it' if you didn't like it."

Matador 10/23/2009 12:05:34 PM

To add a point to this argument Warcry. Tkay42one did not metion at any time why you should or shouldn't watch TF2. But more to express your personnal comments as a debate towards TF2 wether negative or positive.  Unlike the first fool Dazzler which he express how much you should not even try to buy this film or watch it which much was said in his comment.

Kinda like me saying how much disdain I had for the Joe movie but hey trust me I cringed through that whole movie and I won't even repeat the words my wife used for that movie. But like you said Warcry were all opened to our opinions as long as we don't insult the next guy for likeing a movie.

But just to piss people off you gotta be a fukking moron to even like Monkey bone or Freddy Got Finger.

KillerTomato 10/23/2009 12:50:48 PM

WHAT!?!?!?!?!  Freedy Got Fingered is a cinematic masterpiece, it expressed the deep depravity of the extent that Tom Green would go to to try and make a legitimate movie...okay...I'm lying...I hate that movie with a passion...it was downright offensive...

TKay42one 10/23/2009 2:11:31 PM

Thanks for the voice of reason there, Matador.  Warcry, READ an entire post before you almost go off on somebody for saying something he didn't actually say.  fft, I just think that using "fun" to defend a movie is cop out.  I'm not saying every movie you see has to be a boring thinker, but really, does it hurt to have a little bit of sense and good story in all the "fun" I'm supposed to be having?

WarCry 10/23/2009 2:13:41 PM

TKay said:

*Sighs*...I really wish people would stop defending some movies because they deem them to be "FUN"...screwing fat chicks can be fun, but it's not usually something you admit on public forums. And Dazzler, yes, people buy things because they like them...the more appropriate question is did so many people LIKE it? Wait a minute, I'm sure Wiseguy will have a paragraph or so for you...:P

That's the part I was talking about. People say they like a movie and get called down for it. TKay isn't the only one, isn't even NEARLY the worst offender, but his comments here are what made me post. If you'll notice, I also complimented him for the other post that he made.

I used his comments as an example, not saying that he's the only one out there. I guess I should have been clearer on that point.

TKay42one 10/23/2009 2:14:25 PM

When I think of fun movies that aren't ridiculously dumbed down, I think of the really REAL original Star Wars movies, Raider of the Lost Ark, Star Trek IV, Tim Burton's Batman...some other guilty pleasures that too guilty to mention here, but still more entertaining than Transformers 2 was to me.

TKay42one 10/23/2009 2:16:48 PM

It's all cool Warcry...just understand that I'm a sarcastic bastard a lot of the time, but none of it is personal...well, MOST of it isn't personal...lol.  Everybody on here gets personal every now and then.  If I start saying youre mother is a whore because you like Transformers 2, then you'll know I'm getting personal. :P
