Rundown of the first 30min in "Spider-Man 3" - Mar 05, 2007 - 09:01am
in response to my comments made, i'm not a big fan of the character for one thing. as for this "kj" person, i'm NOT a big fan. the reason is this: since this website was started as cinscape, the only ones that have made comments were those signed up, and it's those comments, good or bad, that matter most. but when the people who make the website put in their opinions, they never have anything worthwhile to say. the website is for us, not them. they post the news and we respond. that's suppose to be how it works. maybe i come from a different era, but that's MY take. i'm sorry if i've offended anyone out there
Rundown of the first 30min in "Spider-Man 3" - Mar 05, 2007 - 02:34am
you know, i am so sick and tired of this KJ person putting his 2 cents worth into every single aspect of this website that i want to know who he really is. if he is an editor, stick to editing and keep your mouth shut. you're no better than harry knowles and his crew. you think just because you have a website it's your personal forum for how you feel about movies and such. this is one reason why i have not posted sinced this became mania. i preferred cinescape's format much better. at least there, people were not with the company. which is why this will be the last time i ever post here. kj, why don't you call 1-800-waaaaaa, extension boohoo
"God Save the Queen" Lara Croft - Nov 16, 2006 - 06:15am

ERAGON trailer is online - Sep 15, 2006 - 08:11am
i think this might be pretty good. of course i've read the books, and i will reserve judgement til after it comes out. though i did see a trailer just this last weekend on x-men 3. i currently live in japan, and they had one that isn't shown in the states. but they also didn't have a clear view of saphira. all in all, looks to be good
ERAGON poster released - Aug 23, 2006 - 09:50am
actually, snallygaster, i would see the movie if i had not read the books. as for the poster, i don't find it cheesy at all. i wouldn't say thus far it reflects well on the book. but on the movie, it's what i would expect. i have had a fascination with anything and everything dragons since i was a kid. and since i was born under the sign of the dragon (chinese zodiac), and having read almost every dragonriders of pern book (still waiting for the movie), i had to see what differences there would be. and since anne mccaffery praised his book, i knew i had to read it. but, i'm not here to pass judgement on people. just know the source material before passing judgement, that's all i ask
ERAGON poster released - Aug 23, 2006 - 08:16am
if none of you have read the books (eragon and eldest), then i suggest you do. at 42 years of age, i have read many sci-fi and fantasy books, and i found these to be quite fascinating. anyone can write a book but it takes creative genius to write a novel, let alone a series. granted, movies aren't always as good as the books, but i will reserve judgement until this comes out. when you boys and girls grow up, let me know
STAR WARS' Tim Hildebrant passes away - Jun 14, 2006 - 08:08am
I have a Dragonriders of Pern claendar that they did and it really captured the essence of the stories. His passing will not be forgotten. Your art will live forever. Thank you.

SUPER Lawsuit - Apr 05, 2006 - 09:47am
and i agree with that. but as a musician who has a copyright, i also know the rules. if their work was not copyrighted (which i'm not certain when copyrights went into effect), then it doesn't matter who created it, it then belongs to whatever parent company owns it. if it is copyrighted, then yes, they are entitled to royalties if it is used by a company. if they are submitting the work themselves, then they get it all. i'm not saying they're not entitled to anything, by all means, give them royalties to the title. but to say they deserve it all is a bit ridiculous. if someone wanted to use my music for something, fine, as long as i get a royalty check. they can keep the rest. that is how copyrights work, to protect the author of the work. otherwise, they're s.o.l.
Spider-Woman - Apr 05, 2006 - 09:23am
my question is: how fully articulated is she?
SUPER Lawsuit - Apr 05, 2006 - 09:20am
i agree with iracors to a point. but think about this. why wasn't the suit filed when the show first started airing? this dictates that the family would have had prior knowledge to the fact that a show was using items from the comic. now, if that is the case, why was there never anything said about the old 80's-90's show, superboy, which is coming out on dvd soon. also, there are many references made in the lois and clark series that would have put a lawsuit on the front burner, and primed them for what would have been a halt to any production of smallville. if it's not a case of money but rights, why wasn't anything done during those times? just a thought.
Primeval Buffy - Apr 04, 2006 - 12:52am

LAST STAND Trailer - Mar 07, 2006 - 06:01am
i don't see why everyone hates what is happening. the director is descent, yes the script was rushed, and he entered with virtually no time to get ready. not to mention bryan singer gave him the vote of approval. if anyone is to blame if the film goes south is fox, for wanting to get back at singer for leaving. that's what this is really about. so give the film a chance. remember the first one? everyone said it would stink, and look, a franchise was started. so, take it with a grain of salt.
