While doing some PR for his upcoming film, THE LAKE HOUSE, Keanu Reeves had a little to say about a CONSTANTINE sequel.

"It's kind of in the air. Maybe. I'd love to, but I don't know if the producers would want to do it... It's a long story. We've got to figure it out," said Reeves.

His cast mate in THE LAKE HOUSE, Sandra Bullock, joked that he shouldn't do a sequel, alluding to what happened with SPEED 2

Maybe they should just make a Hellblazer movie. It is uncanny how Alan Moore's source material can easily be f'ed up. V for Vendetta was the only exception. I just hope that if there is ever any stuff on the Watchmen that it be done as an HBO maxiseries like Band of Brothers.

How could Can't Act Reeves be anyones favorite actor. The guy is nothing more than a face. He is the most wooden actor in Hollywood. The only emotion he conveys convincingly is confusion, and I don't think that's an act. His performance in the first Matrix movie succeeds due to limited number of lines he has to deliver, with the always solid Laurence Fishburne carrying the bulk of the lines. The ONLY reason he was chosen to star in Constantine is that the movie wouldn't have been made without a Hollywood A-list star as the lead. Early talks about the casting mentioned James Marsters, Spike from the Buffy/Angel series, as Constantine. He would have been a much better choice as he is blonde, does a spot on English accent, and can act, but he lacked the name recognition of Reeves.

I enjoyed CONSTANTINE. Not enough to buy it, but ok to rent. I'd probably rent a sequal, but not go see it. Rachel Weisz was good. I always enjoy her. Not to elude that I have had a relationship with her of a sexual nature, although if she were up for it. Sorry got a little of subject there.

Oh and I think Reeves voice is so dull and monotone, that it leads people to believe he can't act. He shows emotion in his face, but I'll agree that his best is confusion. I think that might be a permenant look.

Reeves is good at the action stuff, but anytime he has dialogue, get out the earplugs.

Well, if they make a Constantine 2, I'll most likely check it out. Maybe not in the theater, but definitely on bootleg or I'll wait for the DVD. Hell, I've watched some pretty bad sequels recently (Xmen 2 anyone?) so I'm sure I could more than tolerate this. The last 30 minutes of Constantine were pretty exciting. Too much build up to get to that. Maybe with the story out of the way, Constantine 2 could have more action in it.

I agree with captaincraig - I dont read the comic book either so I really enjoyed the movie, in fact watched it for the 4th time just the other day. I could go for a sequal

I would like to see the "Fear and Loathing" storyline and if they do Constantine 3 "Rake at the Gates of Hell".
