I enjoy these films as well but progressively less. Get rid of Ali Larter (dead weight) and let's get back to basics and try to capture the feel of the first one if it's possible, meaning more scary than action oriented.

Going by the latest update on Resident Evil: Afterlife, Ryan Rotten wasn't kidding around when he reported that Screen Gems was fast-tracking a fourth installment in the franchise with a 2010 release in mind. Three weeks after that announcement, the studio has officially locked in some studio space for a September shoot in Toronto.
In the magazine's latest production tweet, here's what they report.
"Resident Evil: Afterlife" is scheduled to begin an 8 week shoot September 28th at Cinespace Film Studios in Toronto.
The timing here gives executive producer and screenwriter, Paul W.S. Anderson, a short window of opportunity to find a director if he decides not to sit behind the camera again. It seems likely he already has chosen to direct the story, based on a script he wrote, or he has someone locked in and the official announcement will be made soon. Early word has the story reportedly shifting to Tokyo where the third installment, Resident Evil: Extinction, left off with Milla Jovovich returning to her Alice character. No word yet whether Ali Larter will be returning to her Claire Redfield character. Screen Gems pulled in $379.4 million worldwide for the trilogy.
Resident Evil: Afterlife will hit theaters September 17, 2010.

Milla is still delicious. Bring on some more. Umbrella must be defeated !
I agree with all of you guys, more Monsters, Mutants, Zombies and experiments. Plus more Alice! Who wouldnt want to sex some 100 (plus) Alices? lol. We can call it Milla mania... wait meant to say Alice mania, even though the A doesn't really fit. Screw it! Milla Maniaaaaaa. Of course you wouldn't ever want to get on her bad side, one Alice is enough to kick your ass, imagine what more than a hundred would do? Ohh the possibilites!!!
There isn't any horror left in the last one, it's just pure action now. Guns blazing, sniper rifles hitting there mark, granades exploding. Oh, wait that's my surround sound.
My point is nothing scares me anymore, it just doesn't look real anymore.
I don't remember Claire Redfield appearing in any of the last 3 movies, the one that did appear in the second movie was Jill Valentine.
Anyhow, I hope that the new movie is better than the last one.
I say spin something from the anime RE "Degeneration" movie it was not bad, may have some neat storylines to follow. Umbrella goes under and just becomes a new company again and again, funny how that works. I say we need more of Alice like in the first movie.
I enjoy ther Resident Evil movies. They would be much better in my oppinion if they followed the original stories from the games, but the movies are enjoyable enough. I would love to see Umbrella finally experimenting in other ways with the T/G Virus's. Hunters, Giant Spiders, Snakes etc like from the original game.
I'd definately love to see some hunter action and Wesker.
