Wow! I guess I'm the first...That was worthy of a trip to the cinema. I didn't hate Apocalypse like some seem to. The first one had some moments but was just OK. I think these seem to be getting better each time.

I might be in the minority here, but I liked the first, but thought the second was a steaming pile, I couldn't even watch the last 15 minutes... tried twice (second time only got half through).... but I gotta say, this trailer looks pretty sweeeeeet, based on the first I will give this a shot..... but I thought I heard Milla became a villain at the end of the second?

madmanic,

Alice was killed in a plane crash at the end of Resident Evil: Apocalypse and was eventually cloned by Umbrella Corp. They had hoped she would work for them again, but she retained all her memories from beforehand and escaped. Her remaining friends from Apocalypse came to rescue her and they rode off together. All her allies are back in Extinction as well.

I kinda liked Apocalypse, but I was always bugged by the fact that the last 10 minutes had more plot than the rest of both movies combined.

Jill doesn't seem to be in this movie i saw the trailer at comic-con and when they asked where is Jill they just said "She's out there surviving"

rgtchtiger,
she didn't die if she did then why do they say they need to find the original alice then they can go back to the surface.

Pretty cool trailer. I actually liked the first 2 so there`s no reason for me not to see the final piece.

Alice didn`t die in the crash. She was injured and taken to that facility where they continued to experiment on her like they had been in the beginning of Apocalpyse. What I got from the ending though was that Umbrella, let her escape, which is why her eye turned into the Umbrella symbol which leads me to believe they have some sort of sinister plot for her to take part in.

I too enjoyed the first movie. It was fun and, since I'd never played any of the video games, i didn't have a lot of baggage. I caught this one and part 2 on DVD. I thought 2 had potential, but it just wasn't realized. The ending of the first part seemed like we were in for some mass zombie, world ending battle...instead it was rather subdued. But, I can't say I won't rent this from Netflix.

The first installment was pretty good...Anderson did a decent enough job. "Apocalypse", however, wasn't that great...I'm expecting far better from Russell Mulcahy.

Highlander!
