IDWPublishing has announced the return of Beau Smith's monster hunting U.S.Marshal Wynonna Earp. Earp is the badge-carrying, gun-totin'great-great granddaughter of Wyatt Earp and the top special agent for a new U.S.Marshal Special Operations Unit, known among other government agencies as"The Monster Squad."
The comic haspreviously been published by Image and has attracted Hollywood interest from theget-go.
"This is myway of joining everything that I ever loved into one big party -- the real andmythical Old West done in modern times, classic monsters with a serious twist,and just enough tongue-in-cheek humor to make ya think it's your first Frenchkiss all over again," said creator and writer Beau Smith.
IDW ispublishing Wynonna Earp as a The 112 page black and white graphicnovel. It's got art by Joyce Chin (Xena: Warrior Princess) and PatLee (The Transformers). Look for it in October.
