For fans hoping that actor Seth Green may one day reprise his role as Oz on the popular
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, don't hold your breath. While touring with the winter 2002 Television Critic's Association promoting his new series
GREG THE BUNNY, the young actor revealed that such an opportunity has just not materialized.
"According to the Internet, I haven't had time [and/or] I've turned them down," jokes Green. "But the truth is I haven't ever gotten a phone call. It's not a 'I wouldn't do that' situation. It's just never come up."
Further, Green credits the show's steady change of cast and direction as the big reason why a guest appearance would most likely never happen.
"When I left, the show went in a lot of different directions," explains Green. "And similar to
90210, the cast has completely changed over. There's like only three original characters on the show now. So I think it's just evolved. In a way, it's become something completely different that I might not be appropriate for."
